Definitions
In these Terms of Service, the following definitions apply:
- Cooling-off period: the period during which the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal.
- Consumer: a natural person not acting in the course of a profession or business who enters into a distance contract with Kejama.
- Day: calendar day.
- Business day: Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- Right of withdrawal: the consumer's right to cancel the distance contract within the cooling-off period.
- Distance contract: a contract concluded exclusively via electronic means between Kejama and the consumer.
- General Terms and Conditions: the present Terms of Service of Kejama (Aurum Nexus Limited).
Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Kejama and to every distance contract concluded between Kejama and the consumer.
Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these Terms of Service will be made available to the consumer electronically so that it can be stored on a durable data carrier.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be wholly or partially invalid or void, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. The affected provision shall be replaced by a provision that most closely reflects the original intention.
Our offer
All offers on our website are without obligation. Kejama reserves the right to change or withdraw any offer at any time. Each offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered, sufficient to allow the consumer to make an informed assessment.
Product images are a true representation of the items offered. As our jewelry is handmade using natural gemstones, slight variations in color, texture, and pattern are inherent to the materials and are not considered defects. Kejama cannot guarantee that displayed colors correspond exactly to the actual colors of the stones.
Each offer clearly states:
- The price including VAT
- Any applicable shipping costs
- The method of payment, delivery, and performance
- The applicable right of withdrawal or exclusion thereof
- The estimated delivery timeframe
Kejama is not bound by pricing errors resulting from obvious typographical or printing mistakes.
The agreement
An agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions set out therein. Upon placing an order, Kejama will confirm receipt by email. As long as receipt of the order has not been confirmed, the consumer may cancel the order.
Kejama takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and to ensure a safe web environment. All payment transactions are processed through a PCI DSS-compliant payment infrastructure.
Kejama reserves the right to refuse an order or to attach special conditions to its execution, within legal frameworks, if there are well-founded reasons to do so.
Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason. This is the cooling-off period.
Condition of return: Unused, unworn, in original packaging
How to withdraw: Contact us at support@kejama.com
Return window: Item must be returned within 14 days of notifying us
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify Kejama in writing (by email) at support@kejama.com within the 14-day cooling-off period. The consumer must then return the product within 14 days of this notification.
During the cooling-off period, the consumer shall handle the product and its packaging with care. Products must be returned unused, unworn, and in their original condition and packaging, with all accessories included. Kejama reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Full details of the return process are set out in our Return Policy.
Costs of return
If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, the costs of returning the product are borne by the consumer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Kejama cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.
If the consumer is entitled to a refund, Kejama will process the refund within 14 business days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
If Kejama has shipped a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, the cost of return shipping will be covered by Kejama. The consumer must contact us at support@kejama.com within 14 days of receipt with photographic evidence before returning the item.
Exclusions from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products that have been created according to the consumer's specifications (custom or personalised items)
- Products that are clearly personal in nature
- Products that show signs of wear, use, or damage caused by the consumer
- Products returned without their original packaging or accessories
- Products returned outside the 14-day cooling-off period
Where the right of withdrawal is excluded, this will be clearly stated in the product offer before the agreement is concluded.
Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are confirmed at the time of placing an order and are subject to change without prior notice — however, the price confirmed at checkout will always be honoured.
Price increases within 3 months of the conclusion of an agreement are only permitted if they result from statutory regulations or provisions. Price increases after 3 months are permitted only if the consumer is informed in advance and has the right to cancel the agreement before the increase takes effect.
VAT: Included in all displayed prices
Free shipping: On all orders over €75
Below €75: Standard shipping rates apply at checkout
Kejama is not bound by any pricing errors resulting from obvious typographical or printing mistakes on the website.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of placing an order. Kejama accepts the following payment methods:
- Visa (credit and debit)
- Mastercard (credit and debit)
- Maestro (debit)
- American Express (credit)
- PayPal
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
The payment methods available at checkout are the definitive list of options. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments' PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure. Kejama does not store card details on its servers.
The consumer has an obligation to immediately report any inaccuracies in payment details to Kejama. Full details are set out in our Payment Policy.
In the event of non-payment or payment disputes, Kejama reserves the right to charge the reasonable costs communicated to the consumer in advance, within legal limits.
Shipping & delivery
Kejama currently ships to all countries within the EU and the UK. The delivery address is the address provided by the consumer at checkout. The consumer is responsible for ensuring this address is correct and complete.
Transit time: 7–9 business days (Monday to Friday)
Total estimated delivery: 8–12 business days from order date
Free shipping: On orders over €75
Tracking: Provided by email once the order has been dispatched
Kejama will fulfil accepted orders within the timeframe stated above. If delivery is delayed or an order cannot be (fully) fulfilled, the consumer will be notified within 30 days of placing the order. In such cases, the consumer has the right to cancel the agreement at no cost and is entitled to a full refund.
The risk of damage or loss of products rests with Kejama until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a designated representative. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the consumer, any additional re-delivery costs are the consumer's responsibility.
Full details of our shipping terms are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Quality & warranty
Kejama warrants that all products conform to the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, and reasonable standards of quality and usability as at the date the agreement is concluded.
As all jewelry is handmade using natural gemstones, slight variations in color, texture, and finish between individual pieces are inherent characteristics of the materials and are not considered defects.
Any defects or incorrectly delivered products must be reported to Kejama in writing within 14 days of delivery, along with photographic evidence. Items must be returned in their original packaging. Kejama will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund defective items.
The warranty does not apply if:
- The product has been repaired or modified by the consumer or a third party
- The product has been exposed to abnormal conditions, careless handling, or used contrary to the care instructions provided
- The defect arises from normal wear and tear
Complaints
Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to Kejama within 14 days of discovering the issue, fully and clearly described, by email to support@kejama.com or via our contact page.
Kejama will respond to all complaints within 14 business days of receipt. If a complaint requires a longer processing time, Kejama will acknowledge receipt within 14 business days and provide an indication of when a full response can be expected.
Submitting a complaint does not suspend the consumer's payment obligations, unless Kejama explicitly states otherwise in writing.

Disputes & governing law
Agreements between Kejama and the consumer to which these Terms of Service apply are governed exclusively by Dutch law, even if the consumer resides outside the Netherlands.
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, both parties may submit the matter to the competent Dutch court or an alternative dispute resolution body.
Consumers in the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
