Replacing your Apple Watch strap is quick and easy — it takes less than a minute.
⚠️ For all strap types: the side with the 3 black lines is always the front. Slide this in on the screen side of the watch. Never force the strap into the connector. Once the strap is correctly fitted, it will stay firmly in place and can only be removed by pressing the strap release button.

🛠️ Not working? Try this:
- If the strap doesn't click into place straight away, try sliding it a little to the left first, then to the right
- Centre the strap, press it gently into position, then carefully wiggle it up and down
- Don't wear your Apple Watch if the strap is still loose or keeps sliding

Instructions for your strap type:
Wrap Strap
Our wrap strap comes in two separate pieces that you attach to each side of your Apple Watch.
- Step 1 — Place your Apple Watch face down on a soft surface, such as a microfibre cloth.
- Step 2 — Hold down the release button on the back of your Apple Watch and slide the old strap sideways to remove it. Repeat on the other side.
- Step 3 — Before fitting, take a moment to check the orientation of the new strap. The side with the 3 black lines is the front and belongs on the screen side. The smooth side is the back.
- Step 4 — Slide both pieces of the strap into your Apple Watch until you feel and hear a click.
- Step 5 — Put the watch on your wrist and wrap the cords around it, just like a regular wrap bracelet.
- Step 6 — Thread the button through one of the loop holes and adjust until it feels comfortable.
