🛠️ Which connector system does your Samsung Galaxy Watch use?
Not all Samsung Galaxy Watch models use the same strap system. Before you start, it's important to check whether our strap fits your watch.
- ✅ Galaxy Watch 3, Active, Active 2, Watch 4, 5, 6 and 7 — use the standard quick-release system with spring bars (20mm or 22mm). Our straps are compatible with all of these models.
-
❌ Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) and Galaxy Watch 8 & 8 Classic (2025) — use the new Dynamic Lug system. This is not compatible with standard quick-release straps. Unfortunately our straps do not fit these models.

Removing the old strap — Galaxy Watch 7 and older with a One-Click strap
Does your current strap have a small button on the side of the band itself? Then this is the right method for you.
- Step 1 — Press the release button on both sides of the strap and pull the strap away from the watch.
- Step 2 — Repeat for the other half of the strap.
- Step 3 — Press the release button on the new strap and position it on the watch. Let go of the button and the strap will click into place.
- Step 4 — Repeat for the other side.
- Step 5 — Gently tug the strap to confirm it's securely locked.
Removing the old strap — Galaxy Watch 4, 5, 6 or 7 with an older style strap
Does your current strap have no button, but a small lever or pin instead? Then use the spring bar method.
- Step 1 — Slide the spring bar on the strap inward and pull the strap away from the watch.
- Step 2 — Repeat for the other side.
- Step 3 — Insert one end of the spring bar of the new strap into the lug on one side of the watch. Slide the other spring bar inward and release it once the strap is in position.
- Step 4 — Repeat for the other side.
- Step 5 — Gently tug the strap to confirm it's securely locked.
⚠️ Never force the strap into the lug. If it doesn't slide in smoothly, check that you've chosen the correct strap size via our SIZE GUIDE.

Got a wrap strap? Here's how to wear it
Attach your wrap strap the same way using the steps above. Then wrap the cords around your wrist and close it by threading the button through one of the loop holes — just like a regular wrap bracelet.

Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 8: why doesn't a standard strap fit these models?
With the launch of the Galaxy Watch 8 series, Samsung introduced a new connector system: the Dynamic Lug system. This system has a button on the watch hardware itself that releases the strap — replacing the traditional pin connection that had been the standard for Galaxy Watch models for roughly a decade.
The Dynamic Lug system was first introduced on the Galaxy Watch Ultra in 2024 and from the Galaxy Watch 8 (2025) onwards has been applied across the full product line. The new system is not backward compatible: straps for the Galaxy Watch 4 through 7 do not fit the Watch 8 or Ultra, and vice versa.
According to Samsung, the Dynamic Lug system reduces movement between the watch and your wrist and improves health tracking accuracy. For this reason, we currently do not offer straps compatible with the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 8 series.
